The team had 5 turnovers for the GAME.
Had you told me prior to the game that that would have FIVE total turnovers, a player score 36 points while going 9-9 from the line I would have bet a lot of money it would have been a blowout win for us.
This team as the reasonable posters have said is not KA or Cuonzo Martin bad, only in the results.
It is kind of appropriate though. Last year almost everything went right. This year nothing. THAT, in and of itself is pretty amazing. Just not good amazing this year.
You keep thinking, “something HAS to change”. But we keep seeing the same game.
I like Gates. But that is on him.
Remember the ku game that KJ Adams scored in the paint in like 4 straight possessions because we trapped? Same thing yesterday with Samuels. The team has some limitations for sure. But at this point you can’t manufacture ANYTHING to help them? That is what watching the same game over and over means to me.
