Hey peeps, was at the J3M Select 7on7 tryout today in Franklin, Tennessee. Had some ballers from Memphis trying out including Missouri 2019 targets Shamar Nash and Keveon Mullins.
- Starting with Mullins. He told me hasn't heard much from Missouri since they offered him back in the spring. He does know about the program since Memphis product Jonathan Johnson is on the team, but right now things are at a stalemate with him and Tigers recruiting wise at the moment. Mullins is listed as a wide receiver, but was working out at defensive back today and said that's where a lot of college coaches like him. Right now, he's hearing a lot from Ole Miss, Mississippi State, and Memphis.
- Nash is a different story. The four-star prospect says he hears from AHC/WR coach Andy Hill often. He visited for a game this past season and said he loved it - the atmosphere, they way Mizzou ran their wide-open offense (which may have a tweak or two), and it's close to home. He wasn't shy about saying he wanted to get back up there soon for a junior day.
I'll have more on Nash in the next few days.
