Please don't hold me to this because things change daily in youth sports. First off, Cuonzo should have pushed harder for Luke Kasubke. I watched him yesterday go for damn near 50 points in Ramey Fall League. His game with the ball in his hands has improved tremendously. He used to be a spot up shooter, now he's scoring off the dribble. K State got a steal with this kid.
I'm hearing Trinity is dead after this season. This Cooper situation has nobody wanting to go there and don't be surprised if there's a mass exodus at semester. There were some maturity issues from Cooper, but the administration took it too far. Cooper had an issue with an Art tracker last year and it carried over to this year. Well, only problem is the Art teacher is now part of the administration and can throw some weight around. A very ugly situation, to the point the whole team was going to sit out in support of Mookie, but he told them not to.
Last but not least. We got one more Wingo coming up through the ranks. He's currently the top 8th grader in the area. He's about 6'2 and can run with the wind. He's currently playing for the East St Louis 8th grade team, so look for him to suit up for Sunkett next year. I can tell you, the folks over at SLUH ain't happy about it either.
