1.) Tennessee is really reeling as of late. They currently sit at #80 in the NET Rankings, which means tomorrow is actually a Q3 game for the Tigers at the moment.
I get the feeling that Tennessee is viewed as a solid team on this board. But in reality, this is a game Mizzou really needs to win if we want to keep the hopes of an NCAA bid alive. You can survive one "bad loss" at home. I don't think you can survive two from a resume standpoint.
2.) Tennessee does have a new player on the roster that may give them a glimmer of hope to turn their season around. Uruguayan Freshman Santiago Vescovi showed up on campus last week and went 6/6 from three against LSU Saturday. He is a promising looking player. Kid has a ton of skill, but is still raw, as he turned the ball over 9 times. I think our defense will be able to frustrate him a bit.
