As a Father’s Day gift I got some Tip Your Cap Baseball Beer from Boulevard Brewing. I liked it enough to buy more myself.
I mention this, because it evokes memories of my two favorite beers as a student at Mizzou in the late ‘60s: Falstaff and the original Schlitz.
Beer snobs will laugh, of course, but as a dirt poor student, I could afford those two (Falstaff draws at the Shack were 25 cents a draw). And I LIKED the taste of both of them.
Tip Your Cap brings back that taste.
Carry on!
