I had a chance to talk to Antonio Sunday and I must admit he's a very nice kid. I asked him how he felt about Mizzou and he said everybody showed him so much love and that he loved Mizzou. Next question was why are you going to Texas A&M if you love Mizzou so much. He said Mizzou is too close, every chance he got he would be coming back to East St. Louis for the weekends or breaks and didn't want to get caught up in the mix. So the farther away he went to school, he wouldn't be coming back as much. Plus, he said Jaylon Mackenzie's death was the back breaker for any chances he had of staying close to home. I know sometimes we root against kids when they pick other programs, but I really felt and understood what Antonio was saying. Again, great kid.
