What's up fellas... I know it's last minute, but since it looks like they are going to actually play NFL football this season, we decided to go ahead and give our fantasy football league a shot.
We're doing the league like we always have... It's a money league, with a $50 buy-in... We're hoping to get 14 players, that'll allow every team to play every other team once during the season... Top 8 teams will make the playoffs and we'll have 3 rounds of playoffs to settle our champion... 14 teams would give us $700 in prize money, with the league champion winning $500, the 2nd place team would win $150, and the 3rd place team would win their original $50 back.
I didn't really realize this until I heard Mike Greenberg say it today, but the season begins in 9 days... I guess most of u all knew that bc u're Chiefs are playing that nite... But I didn't realize it was coming up so fast until today... So we're gonna do the draft on Monday, Sept. 7 at 10 am... That's Labor Day morning... I figure that would be best bc we could do it before all the BBQing and family stuff got started, but if we needed to change that we could... Anyway, we're looking for players and if u play fantasy and u're looking for a league to join, we've got spots available.
Our plan for if the season gets shut down by the virus or anything else, is to just give everybody their money back... No sense in playing around... If they don't finish, we'll just give the money back and hope we get to play next yr.
