Are we sure it's just bad dog owners? At some point, it's maybe the breed, right?

I just can't recall stories, at least not public ones, of breeds other than pitbulls who behave like this to the point of bystanders having to take a defensive posture.


I do understand that pits can be well trained, but so can all other breeds. Why choose a pitbull knowing the liability? Is it like a dick measuring contest amongst dog owners or something like that?
