A lot of talk about apathy for Mizzou football attendance.

IMHO, part of the problem is that gametimes are not decided until 7 days in advance for many of the games. Most of us have kid activities and other commitments that are decided long in advance. We are not able to decide if we can even attempt to make a game until it's a week away.

Now, this doesn't matter to schools like Alabama, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Nebraska (tongue in cheek). If the leagues were serious about filling the stadiums for the rest of the teams in college football, they would force the networks to take on a little more risk and get their schedules out weeks in advance, rather than days.

I'm not pretending this will solve all the problems, but it would help. The current situation is clearly skewed toward money from the TV networks at the expense of the live production.
