Avery coached in a NBA final in 2006...the recruits were 9. I will go out on a limb and guess that most recruits don't remember, know or care about Avery Johnson. This hire satisfied the donors. By the way...did Derrick Rose play at Kentucky or Memphis? It's all about the spin.
