Could we see this as a model for the SEC?
Personally I don't like it. Iowa has 3 protected games while Penn State has 0. You see every team in 2 years (somehow) and they say twice in 4... seems like teams like Iowa may have the advantage with their protected games while Nebraska (1) and PSU (0) may be more at the mercy of the schedulers... I like the SEC's 9 game model, and even the 8 game model that has 2 - 7 team groups you would play 2x in 4 years seems like a better set up. But then, I am not so sure the B10 can "encourage" their teams like the SEC does... will be interesting to see how all this shakes out.
