Odom taking the podium now. He's first asked about his BBQ preference: wet or dry. Says he's not a "both" guy.

Odom says the team will have its normal Friday walkthrough after he leaves this press conference. That'll be its last practice time of the season.

Odom says the team went to the Civil Rights museum yesterday. Called it humbling and eye-opening. Also took 12-15 guys to the St. Jude pediatric cancer research center.

Odom says every Thursday, the team has a meeting that has nothing to do with football. I didn't know that prior to today. He says he talked this week about representing your last name and your hometown. Odom says he will know a whole bunch of people from Oklahoma coming to the game, some cheering for Oklahoma State, but more for Mizzou.

Odom officially rules Albert Okwuegbunam out for the game. No surprise.

Odom says he never even had a conversation with Drew Lock about playing in the bowl game. Says this game means "a heck of a lot" to Drew.

Odom says motivation is "absolutely not" an issue for this game.

Odom says during the first half of the season, the defense didn't play as well together as it did down the stretch. Says through the month of November they did really well at having all 11 guys on the same page.

Odom says the defense will have to defend "every inch of the field" against Oklahoma State's offense.

Odom says last year, the team had some things going on in the leadup to the bowl game that "probably weren't as healthy as you would want them to be" — a thinly veiled reference to Josh Heupel and Glen Elarbee.

Asked about the growing number of bowl games, Odom says he's never heard of a coach who has gone to a bowl game and said "that wasn't a good experience." Says he believes the Liberty Bowl will be around for 60 more years.

Odom asked if he's looked at the weather forecast for tomorrow. Says he's put a lot of study and a lot of hours into that. I think he was joking.

Odom says Mike Gundy was a great high school quarterback in Oklahoma, and he looked up to Gundy. Jokes that he would have been a negative-star rated player coming out of high school. Says Mizzou was a better fit for him that Oklahoma State.

Asked if there is any added pressure since Mizzou is the favorite, Odom says he didn't know Mizzou was favored.

Odom says minus one half, the Mizzou offense has played really good football this season.
