Let's look at his first 3 years compared to the almighty Gary Pinkel.
PINKEL
Year 1 - 4-7 (T-4th conference)
Year 2 - 5 - 7 (5th)
Year 3 - 8-5 (3rd, lost bowl game)
BARRY
Year 1 - 4-8 (7th)
Year 2 - 7-6 (T-3rd, lost bowl game)
Year 3 - 3-3 (so far)
Barry is on a similar track when it comes in comparison to Pinkel. People need to realize that Mizzou isn't going to get a knock out coach that wins from day 1. This is Missouri. This isn't a top tier program and probably won't ever be. Give him time....just like Pinkel. Get used to being mediocre with a few good years. Odom's time is coming for a breakthrough. It'll happen.
