I have not watched every game. Was at the Coastal Carolina game and Mosely had a great offensive night. In the other games I have watched, have not been that impressed.
I think Gates played his best 9 players today. They weren't/aren't good enough to beat the team we all hate.
Team played really nervous the first 5 minutes..the game was decided before they adjusted to the big time game v. a big time opponent in a tremendous atmosphere.
Once they did...I kept thinking if they could get the lead to 10 prior to the half...they probably would not win but we could have a good game. After the Shaw dunk it was almost there. The next two possessions on offense and defense were killers. Game for sure over.
Prior to this game, I thought East was the best player. Now...I don't think this team has a best player and it will truly have to be someone different every game but Mosely is not the answer.
Meant to add one other point........ku refused to miss any shots early on and no way they are that good. Our Tigers refused to make any shots...no way they are that bad. I do believe that much of it was nerves but also it was the first time they had really been thrown in the fire v. this kind of opponent. It took a while to adjust to the speed and physical play.
