Europe is going back to coal. Gas is the now joining solar and wind as 'green energy" and nuclear power is back on the table. Biden sitting on tremendous deposits of oil and gas and the best know how to extract them with the smallest footprint in environmentally sound methods, is waging war on energy companies, down to blaming mom and pop filling station for HIS high gas prices.
The dirty secret is that Biden didn't win the presidency. He did not bring his own ideas except for pulling all the troops out of Afghanistan without listening to his generals about how to accomplish it.
When it came to power he just adopted the far left green platform to garner support . Biden just read the scripts he was given and his only choices from his handlers were "fossil fuel bad, evil, existential threat" and "Green energy good, electric cars good, except tesla"

His handlers set his agenda and keep him on script on a teleprompter, tell him precisely who to call on for softball questions in rare occasion he meets the press.
They had him already to go with their all green agenda before he looked around his new house, signing regulations to stop a pipeline that would be near completion now and stop new leases on fed lands. But it was much broader than that.
Those in charge of Biden and the administration made sure that every department had a budget to piss away taxpayer dollars on their climate religion.
This is why Biden refuses to roll back his climate policy to match the crisis. His handlers won't let him . The people in charge still believe their theory of high prices of fossil fuel will only hasten the move to their green utopia.
