But it brings up a point. I think it possible all the teams could be in a better position over the past 10 years if they'd never left(we certainly could have with both major programs even if not financially). The problem is Texas and OU forced everyones hand.

If the Big 12 could have negotiated equally distributed revenue the league could have expanded and been the third or even top two if they'd gotten the right schools, now it's dying a slow death.

It would be interesting to see where the league would be if it held together but if we hadn't left OU and/or UT likely leave for the SEC(taking our and A&Ms place) sooner. And who knows who takes Nebraska's spot in the Big Ten. (Are they still junior revenue partners?)
