Kctv5 just said this might be the biggest game in Arrowhead history. And I thought it's actually debatable. The Border War in 2007 was the local rivalry, at it's peak that we'll never see again. The winner won the rivalry, the division, the #1 ranking in the country, and a trip to the conference championship.
This game sends the winner to the Superbowl and has a sentimental aspect with the chance to win the Lamar Hunt trophy. But I don't think anyone believes this is the last chance to see an AFC Championship in Kc. That's why I think the border war is bigger. It was really once in a lifetime.
What do you think? Or another game I'm not thinking of?
