I’ve noticed now that when writing about race, most writers now capitalize the B in black when identifying a black person’s race but don’t do the same when identifying a white person’s race. Shouldn’t there be conformity on something like this or is this just a test to determine how woke the writer is? I have zero issues with the capital B but wonder why both aren’t capitalized. Did I miss the memo explaining this change?
