This seems like the sort of proven winner Sterk wants to excite the fan base, bringing BCS bowl, FCS playoff, and national title experience along with him. He's only 59 years old and has a solid coaching tree and network that could fill a staff quickly and lay the groundwork for the future, as he did at OU. Deep ties to Oklahoma and Texas for recruiting.
