I thought I would look at Bowers stats in the games Georgia has played. Georgia's schedule hasn't been too bad so far this year. We are leaving out UT Martin, Ball State and UAB. We will be tracking South Carolina, Auburn, Kentucky and Vandy.
South Carolina: Beck had 269 passing yards 0 tds with 27 completions. Bowers had 7 of those completions for 54 yards, no tds.
Auburn: Beck had 313 with 1 TD. Bowers had 8 receptions for 157 and a TD. Half of Georgia's passing production. Huge game.
Kentucky: Beck 28/35 389 4 TDS. Bowers had 7 for 132 and a TD. Another monster game on his behalf.
Vandy: Beck 29/39 1 TD. Bowers only had 4 for 22 but, he obviously got hurt.
As you can tell this is a big blow. However, they are still a very talented team and we will still need our A game. Just thought I would pass this along for anyone interested.
