FWIW, I expect a release in the next 48 hours probably. My belief is that, like most similar situations, this will be termed a mutual parting of the ways. As I said in the mailbag, early names I've heard are Anthony Grant, Rick Ray and Michael Porter. It's VERY early and I don't expect this to be filled right away, so other names could surface. I'm not sure Grant is realistic. But I think a shot needs to be taken. I think Ray would be good. There are obvious reasons to hire Porter, but that gives you a VERY inexperienced staff, which some people around the program believe was an issue this year.
We'll see what happens. I expect there to be more changes to the personnel (the roster, not the coaching staff) over the next few weeks, but nothing I know or can report at this point in time.
Another name I should have mentioned is Corey Tate, who is a possibility.
