I like the guy and like what he did in those first 6 games for the most part. But I don't think any winning coach would want his starting QB and team captain to claim the teams identity is "swagger". We've seen what happens when swagger gets punched in the mouth. Saban would probably bench a kid for a quarter for saying that. Disciplined, staying humbled, or hungry would be alot better. But I believe this could be part of why the offense has taken a step back. That swagger doesn't carry you through a game and causes the type of cocky, undisciplined play we've seen.
I like the other things he said and his toughness and competitiveness. I like him as a person but I think alot of the guys on the team who are not as mature as him need more discipline and leadership than swagger.
