It's Mizzou basketball alumni day here. Quite a few people are back but the highlight is the 2001-02 Elite Eight team having a reunion weekend. Not everybody from that team was back (no Rickey Paulding or Arthur Johnson) but a good number were.
Clarence Gilbert is living in Fort Lauderdale, says he spends most of his time chasing his kids around. Kareem Rush is back in KC doing real estate. Talked to both of them for a couple minutes.
Also caught up with Jason Conley who is doing financial planning in DC and also trains some basketball players. This was his first time back in Columbia since he played here. He also mentioned to me he scored the final Missouri points in Hearnes Center history. Kevin Young retired last year after 14 years playing across the globe and is now living in Cancun with his wife and kids.
Thought some of you would enjoy hearing what some of the old guys are up to. May write a little something after the game, we'll see how it goes.
