It absolutely sucks that some of these kids didn't get a chance to play in the postseason, but I don't see any reasonable way to do it for basketball. Also, how do you justify a team like Oklahoma State, who had four seniors, getting all of them back, while a team like Mizzou, which had one, doesn't get as many scholarships?
On top of that, this would basically force freshmen coming in to take a redshirt year no matter what, which then alters the available opportunities for rising HS seniors.
