Are there really any consequences to being found paying players? Louisville and ku are both ranked and discussed as the best teams in basketball. They will both play in the postseason. Sanctions may come but they'll be a slap on the wrist compared to the offense. It really doesn't seem like there's any incentive to play by the rules, cooperate with the NCAA and compete fairly with those who don't.
