In between film projects, my business partner approached me about possibly paying tribute to Marty in some way as we were both massive Chiefs fans in the 90's and have become connected with many players from this era.
We decided to move forward with the idea of getting several of his former players on video to share well wishes and memories now that Marty is battling Alzheimer's. We've been in close contact with his wife Pat throughout the process and, as with many Alzheimer's patients, she says he has good days and bad days. We hope this film helps him remember some of the biggest moments in his career and we are also raising money for Alzheimer's research with the sales of the DVD/digital copy.
The film features such players as Bernie Kosar, Tim Grunhard, J.J. Birden, Earnest Byner, Bob Golic , Lorenzo Neal and many more.
