One of our golf group members wife's family used to own auto dealership in Greenville. Asked him his thoughts about Bryant: Cliff notes: Very smart and very fine young man. Will represent Missouri well. Very passionate and lets it show. Clemson fans were unhappy he quit middle of season - not all that forgiving. Very surprised he chose Misssouri. Everybody thought Auburn. Dooley must be a hell of a salesman. Rumor is Dooley/Odom assured him major emphasis on changing playbook and freedom to "do his thing". His focus is on NFL --must win. He is great on roll outs, short passes and running - look for the option. (Debo and their Olympic caliber WRs thought he often ran too soon.) He can throw the long ball - that knock is unfair. Believes Mizzou will forget all about Lock after 3rd or 4th game. Bryant hates Georgia with a passion and the Georgia thugs will try to hurt him given the chance (Greenville and Athens are not that far apart - often chase same girls.lol.) Sometimes very hard on teammates when screwups occur. He will speak up even with Odom and Dooley. He lost his job fair and square. Clemson will beat Alabama (we'll see). Thought Kelly would have been worth at least two more tds in our bowl game - was not impressed with Lock as a College QB. If Dooley leaves before classes start so will Bryant. That's all.
