I've got a notebook, a column and some quick post-game thoughts on the front page. I'll have the grade card in the morning. Mitch and Joel have Braggin' Rights covered. Not a lot to add but here are a few things:

It sure looked like Mizzou's been playing the wrong quarterback tonight. Next nine months are going to be absolutely fascinating on that front. Who stays and who plays?

The receiver room needs to have a great offseason. Because only three guys really made plays this year and two of them are gone.

I haven't seen a turnaround like Steve Wilks made this year in a long time. His defense was good enough to win tonight with guys that had barely seen the field.

When we eventually get video of the post-game I'll post it. Drinkwitz said nothing. I don't know if he was angry or mad or depressed or what, but there just wasn't much there.

Overall, this was a mediocre season wrapped up by a decent performance that wasn't quite good enough in a nondescript bowl game against a blah team. I'm not going to put too much weight on what it means for the future. It just happened and it's over and now it's on to the future. Nothing about this season really stands out. It was just there. Sorry I don't have more than that, but that's honestly how I feel.

I'll get snap counts and PFF stuff done, Mitch is going to have a little hoops follow up and probably a season grade card and we'll have a recruiting story or two in the system. Honestly, after we both get home tomorrow, we're going to try to take a break with our families. I haven't read the board at all, but will do so a little tonight and tomorrow and try to respond and answer some questions if there are any.
