I have watched all of our games this year and a few others and I can't help but feel like the refs are really letting the players play. I've always been impressed by how much contact the NBA allows without bogging games down in to a foul fest. I always thought college games were the opposite. This year it seems like the refs got the memo to allow for more contact during the game the let the players decide it. But maybe that is just me.
