Missouri landed a commitment from Collierville (Tenn.) quarterback Aidan Glover on Thursday. PowerMizzou.com takes a look at what his verbal pledges means for the Tigers' 2024 class.

- Missouri definitely needed a boost of recruiting momentum in June and landing Glover, a 6-foot-3, 193-pound quarterback with dual-threat capabilities really helped the Tigers' efforts and could serve as a springboard throughout the rest of the month.

- Daniel Kaelin decommitted from Missouri on May 19th. That was also the day that Missouri extended an offer to Glover in an effort to move forward and find a signal-caller that would become a key fixture in this year's class. Missouri was able to get the three-star talent on campus last weekend for their first wave of official visits this month and it paid off with a commitment.

- Glover is a prospect that saw his recruiting stock rise throughout the spring as more power five programs began to offer that stopped by and watched him throw. Ultimately, the Collierville (Tenn.) product chose Missouri over the likes of Northwestern, Boston College, Houston, and Stanford. He had taken previous officials to Northwestern and Boston College before making the call for Missouri.

- At the Rivals Camp Series stop in Cincinnati, Glover got to display his arm talent showing off a smooth delivery and tremendous ball-placement during goal-line routes, particularly in the middle of the field. He also showed off a strong arm and good balance on deep throws as well. Glover's game is a lot more dynamic than what we saw at the Rivals Camp, as he's a quarterback that is also comfortable throwing on the run and making plays when the pocket breaks down.

- During his junior season, Glover displayed his playmaking skills with his arm and his legs, completing 65% of his passes for 1,421 yards and 21 touchdowns against just seven interceptions while rushing for 418 yards and three scores.

- Glover becomes Missouri's third commitment of the 2024 class, joining Washington (Mo.) offensive tackle Ryan Jostes and Joplin (Mo.) tight end Whit Hafer. He becomes Mizzou's first out-of-state pledge in this year's class.
