I concede land mines are more of an evil cvnt form of deterrence, but placing razor wire where starving women with babies are trying to pass is pretty gawdam evil and cunty.
While on the surface trying to mutilate immigrants is appalling, it's also misguided. Congress has done dick on immigration for decades simply because there's a great demand for illegal immigrant labor, and some of the players that depend on it are big enough to own both political parties. But it's us too. Every time we go to the grocery store or a restaurant, we're part of the labor demand chain. Hell, illegal immigrants literally put the roofs above our heads.
If there's real desire for change (and I see little evidence of that), yes pass substantive border policy, but stop allowing businesses to benefit from using illegal labor. Today we have industries that absolutely depend on it being there. So long as that's the case, we'll always have an influx of illegals by design.
