The libs throw around numbers and say that spending had no or little effect on our inflation and workplace problems.
This morning on CNBC the hosts were talking about a study by San Francisco Fed about what one item cost. The PPP loan program cost the government 777 Billion dollars. That was 2300.00 each for 330 million people or 7.5 k per family unit thrown into the economy and put on the national debt. The conclusion was that much of the money went to businesses like franchisees of big corporations that got more profitable in the lockdown.
The conclusion was that nobody knew at that time just how bad it would get but it wasn't particularly well spent.

Then the 1.9 trillion that Biden and dems could not wait to spend was truly a huge waste of helicopter money. The I'll conceived programs shoved out the door just because that is what the libs wanted to do without regard to need or impact. We have seen the crazy shit paid for with this money, and you can imagine the graft involved in giving billions to state and city governments. Remember this was as most of the vulnerable had been vaccinated and the incidence was rapidly dropping .
That fiasco cost each of 330 million people 5750.00 on the national debt. That wild spending put over 20,000.00 for each family unit on the debt and increasing spending in an economy that did not need it.
Now keep in mind in December before the vaccine was distributed 900 billion went out the door of helicopter money. Let's say that was somewhat needed, but we know much of it just fueled the stay at home and make more than working for many folks...increasing inflation.
So anyone yet says dropping that extra 20,000.00 per family on top of huge poorly managed shove out the door money that happened when we thought everyone would die, is not a big driver of inflation, you are just not too bright.
And Joe and his lefties were desperate to add another 2 to 3 times that Covid bill in their BBB scheme ..another 40 to 60 k per family on questionable spending that would have thrown nitroglycerin on this raging inflation .
20k per family poof into an overheated economy, put on the national debt and the democrats claim it had nothing to do with the inflation we are seeing now.
A trillion here, a trillion there adds up to real money. Senator Dirkson is probably rolling over in his grave..he said it with the amount being a "billion". Big big difference.
