We had a chance to look at Jerod Alton's film (had seen it earlier, but went back through it more thoroughly after he committed) and have rated him as a 5.5 three-star. That would put him somewhere in the 12-20 range in-state, and we'll update those state rankings toward the end of August after the post-summer rankings updates are done. At this point we are working with just junior film, and will get a chance to evaluate him further during his senior season. A couple of the things we like about Alton's game is his toughness and agility. Most of his film is at RB, so definitely looking to get more DB-specific questions answered this upcoming fall. Want to see him improve his top-end speed and have a better presence because bigger WR's are a challenge for him. Looks like the best fit at Nickel corner based on what we have seen thus far.
