I posted on here a week or 2 back that cases in Europe were now on an uptrend in most countries, including Spain, France, and Germany.
Today, New Zealand announced a lockdown for Auckland. I think someone broke quarantine and we may see a few new cases over the next week or so.
Holland announced mandatory quarantine for anyone exposed to COVID or face legal action.
Russian announced a "Vaccine".
Spain had over 5K new cases one day last week. At the peak, Spain had 8K new cases in a day in the spring.
I don't think these numbers will rise a lot in the short term. I have held the assumption that congregation of people in doors increases spread, so pleasant outdoor weather has kept spread down. If it is too hot (AC) or too Cold (Heat), then transmission grows. That data supports this hypothesis.
Most of Europe has been under pleasant conditions. It will be interesting to watch as we go into the colder months.
