He is currently speaking at a coaching clinic, and was asked about what he looks for in a kid he is recruiting, and gave the following answer
"Guys like me and Glenn Robinson we didn't belong in West Lafayette but coach Keady gave us an opportunity and believed in us. I can't judge a kid based on his environment, but instead give him an opportunity, teach him, and show him what it looks like outside that environment. Coaching is teaching."
