It was that simple. For three and a half quarters our offensive play calling was so atrocious that our defense kept being asked to keep us in the game, and they stepped up big time. They set the tempo for the LBs and the secondary to play tight and force Florida into tough down and distance situations. If that same defense shows up Friday, we have a shot. And if our QB Whisperer can figure out how not to follow up a 25 yard Badie run with three ineffective passes on our side of midfield in a tie game, that may give us a chance, also.
