Let's start Halloween with some Mizzou recruiting news.
Here is Schiffer's story on K'Rojhn Colbert who will visit
Speaking of visits, 2018 North Carolina CB Donte Burton was in town. I traded messages with him while he was at the St. Louis airport this morning. Here's what he said:
"It was great I loved every minute of it. I was treated great. The coaches showed me around and we watched some film. I really enjoyed my time in Missouri."
We'll keep an eye on him.
Couple other visitors were in town from Kansas City. DaRon Davis was back. It seems fairly obvious at this point he's set on Mizzou. Too bad for the Tigers that there isn't an early signing period yet. Would be nice to just fully lock that one in. Along with Davis, Park Hill DE Chester Graves came down for the game. As we have said for a while, we're hearing it is very unlikely Graves qualifies, but it would make the commitment list look shinier on National Signing Day and if you could sign and place him, it probably gives you a little bit better chance to bring him back in the fold in a couple of years.
On the bad news side, ICYMI, longsnapper Adam Bay flipped from Mizzou to Wisconsin after a weekend trip to Madison. Also, Los Angeles DB Nick Pickett committed to Oregon. He was part of that group that was offered a couple months ago and had some ties with juco prospect Keisean Nixon. I think the Tigers still have a decent shot with Nixon, but it seems unlikely they'll end up with those other LA prospects.
That's what we've got this morning. If we get more, we'll pass it on.
