The dems went all in on Jan 6 . Lawfare was a word I had never heard of, but everyone knows it when they see it now. Partisan democrat prosecutors on all levels timed cases of dubious merit about all manner of misdeeds, carefully timed to be tried in 2024, during election campaign. The common theme? Trump was a threat to democracy because of Jan 6. We must stop him at any cost. ( Even if that meant dems had to lie that Biden was mentally fit, open borders and high inflation were not issues and Kamala Harris was not an empty pantsuit).
While the dems (and TDS OT dead Enders) remained focused on Jan6, their over the top prosecution of it to the exclusion of all else turned voters off. Yesterday I watched cnn and msnbc coverage of the congressional approving the electors and naming Trump president. In each case it was pretty much interviewing angry democrat congressmen and ex congressmen like Kinzinger about how awful Trump is. So awful he won the popular vote and had the largest gains in all but a couple blue states on record. They should have been admitting they fvcked up thinking their exaggeration of a few hours of a disorganized riot at the Capitol 4 years ago was all the American people wanted to hear about. I hope they keep at it another 4 years.
