Just something I have been pondering...and I certainly have no real answer, but was wondering what your thoughts are...
Why has this case..or why did this case...become the event where, as many have said, the country is on trial? Why was this case....the one that brings out comments like Nancy Pelosi made.."thanks for sacrificing your life"?
I don't remember...but I have read about Emmitt Till, the Birmingham Church Bombing, the murders of the young Civil Rights workers in Mississippi..................those were events that were watershed moments for the Civil Rights Movement that led to the Civil Rights Act in 1964.
I understand those....but not sure how this is any different than all of of the other police shootings.
