Was reading the CBS Sports Coach Rankings for 2022 and was quite surprised to find Drink at 46... only Harsin at Auburn and Lea at Vanderbilt were lower in the SEC. That got me to thinking... here we have a young brash coach who is doing well in recruiting, but is not getting it done on the field (at least by SEC standards). We can make excuses, but coaches like Josh at Tenn came into a hot mess, worse than Mizzou, and went 7-6. Pittman came into a bad situation, took our old coach as his DC, and went 3-7 the first year, but 9-4 with a top 25 ranking in the more difficult of the conference divisions last year.

When does the seat start to get hot for Drink? When do you start to get frustrated? The SEC typically does not have much tolerance for "failure" (look at Harsin at Auburn). We are high on Drink, but at least THIS national site does not have much love for him. Are we too close and missing something? Are our expectations too high? Or do we know something other don't care to look for?

In this poll... Drink...
