There’s still some positions being sorted out like punter, QB, probably the OL still at RG and RT.

Marcellus Johnson has positional flexibility and been good at being physical.

They have six capable offensive lineman who can start is what Drink said which is down from 7-8 a week ago.

Drink said TE Jordon Harris had a couple of good catches and was good being physical in camp.

Drink said Carlies should be good for week one and expects him to be a full participant on Thursday.

Chad Bailey has a soft tissue injury and he’s still working on that.

Dameon Wilson will probably be the backup LB for Chad. So, if you don’t see Chad it’ll be him.

Johnny Walker has earned starting spot is what Drink said but he does have competition with Joe Moore and Nyles Gaddy.

Brady was efficient throwing the football during camp, he knows the offense, he said he’s working on third down efficiency.

He thinks there was a few freshmen WRs who didn’t handle tonight well (as far as going full speed and staying focused) but he said they did well in camp and expects them to get some playing time. He’s confident in top 5 WRs but needs a couple more to be ready to go.

Wide receiver Peanut Houston has a soft tissue injury but he will be okay in the coming days.

Safety Isaac Thompson will be out for the season after getting surgery. He was on crutches and had a brace on one of his knees — I want to say right (I can’t remember, sorry).

Drink said he’s enjoying helping special teams and that it’s good he can be neutral when it comes to offense vs defense in practice. In the past it was him and the offense vs the defense.

Running back Jamal Roberts has had a great camp, but Drink mentioned that the young guys weren’t going full speed and lacked focus. Roberts was one of those guys not going full speed in Drink eyes.

He said whoever has the hot hand and is good in pass blocking will get the carries at RB.
