Drink starts by thanking fans for being in the seats. It's the sixth-largest home opener in school history. First time the team held a team to under 100 yards since 2019.

The last drive was all freshmen.

It took the Tigers 4 plays for Mizzou to figure out Murray State. They were expecting a lot of short stuff.

Corey Flagg and Marvin Burks jumped out on film.

Was impressed with the offensive line.

Thought the QB sneak stop on fourth and inches was huge. Said Toriano Pride had a good camp and it was awesome for him to see Pride get that INT TD.

Noel and Carroll did what Drinkwitz expected. He was pleased with how they complemented each other.

He says Brett Norfleet and Luther Burden should be fine.

Was happy with red zone offense and couldn't find issue with the red zone offense although he said he has to look at the film. Team went 7-of-7 in the red zone with four TDs.

"We're where we want to be and now we have to keep improving."

Thought Drew Pyne had a good game outside of that QB run in the red zone (he's joking about his athleticism).

Impressed by kicker Blake Craig, thought he did well.

Helmet communication breakdown at the end of the first half was coaches telling Cook to go and Cook thought to make an adjustment at the line.
