He starts with thanks to the fans for the sell-out crowd and his respect for Kansas State.

He said KSU is good with balancing the run and pass. They run a multiple defense with an odd stack. He said they have a lot of good defensive players and the loss of Felix Anudike-Uzomah isn't that big a loss because they have a lot of good players.

He said the strength of their team is the offensive line with five returning players.

He said the guy that makes them go is WR/PR Phillip Brooks. He thinks special teams are what defines them.

Drink said he's seeing large and small problems on the offensive line. He said they need to open the competition at right guard. Which means Cam'Ron Johnson's position.

He thinks they need to get Nate Peat more involved and called him explosive. He thinks the yards per carry in Week 2 was a little low because the team kept getting behind the sticks.

He said WR Theo Wease has done well since he's got here and that the team has to identify more opportunities to get him the ball.

Drink said they have restructured their practices on Monday so that players who don't play on Saturday can get a lot of reps in practice.

He alluded to wanting to make sure they kind of preserve redshirts for later down the line in conference play when they need them.

Drink said Nyles is a serious young man who has been controlling what he can control.

He said DE was a position they were concerned with in the offseason, but he's pleased with how they've played this season.

He said they've got to create more opportunities to pass the ball. They only had 19 pass attempts in Week 2.

Drink did mention WR Mekhi Miller had an injury.

He said the missed PAT was due to penetration on the right side but the holder double clutching the hold mainly was the problem.

Drink said AGAIN Kirby Moore calls the play. The dialogue is fluid and they both speak through what plays are being called.

Drink said Javon Foster and Xavier Delgado have been "incredibly consistent" and that he's really proud of Connor Tollison and that Armand Membou showed a lot of improvement.

Marcellus Johnson will get to compete at right guard and so will Big Show (Logan Reichert). EJ Ndoma-Ogar will also get a chance.

Chad Bailey has been getting some work in. Last week was apparently a dress rehearsal to get him in the groove of gameday. He will be a full participant in practice today and they're ahead of schedule.

Keys to the game will be defending run and stopping Brooks. He said that Brooks was the difference maker in KSU's game vs. Troy.

Drink said he doesn't think there's anything bigger than College Football with regional rivalries.
