I realize most here live and die with the outcomes of these contests. I've certainly had my moments. But, for whatever reason in the last few years I've taken a lighter approach to these things. Maybe with age comes perspective??
Anyways, if you look at sporting contests for what they are. Entertainment. Then this game has had it all! Highs and lows, failures and great successes. Malfunctions left and right, questionable officiating. A freaking monsoon of epic proportions. Dudes that can't hold onto the ball to save their lives. Punters lowering shoulders on botched snaps and getting blown up. And, ultimately two teams basically tied with under 2 mins on the clock.
This game represents the Odom Era very well and could ultimately be his undoing if we aren't successful in finishing this out. I, for one, have enjoyed this game more than any I can remember in a while.
