As Kealan Jones saw his recruitment take off in January, one offer sparked a phone call from a former teammate.
Class of 2025 cornerback Mark Manfred, who enrolled at Missouri this past month, immediately called Jones on Jan. 22, when the Class of 2026 safety announced an offer from the Tigers on social media.
"He just said congratulations," Jones said. "And he's going to keep trying to get me to commit."
