Because it’s going to be brutal if we have to read the same exact things reposted 9,000 times over the next 26 months.
I’m not defending CM. He hasn’t recruited well, doesn’t run an exciting offensive, frequently makes poor choices with regard to rotations, clock management, you name it. And on top of that, it appears he doesn’t have the locker room. I get it. He’s not the long-term solution, short of some miraculous turnaround.
That being said, it would cost a sh!tload of money to can him early, plus the money to get a definitively better coach.. and the university isn’t swimming in money right now. Plus CM just made the NCAA. He’s not going anywhere any time soon unless he wants to.
Any chance we can just suck it up, and realize that bitching isn’t going to change any of that? And hope that he can just provide some incremental improvement until we can trade up? Hopefully he’ll be the bridge from Kim Anderson to a really good coach. Just like Odom was the bridge from 2015 to Drink.
