In the 2008/2009 season, Kim English, Marcus Denmon, Lawrence Bowers, and Steve Moore were freshman. They would be one of the winningest classes in Mizzou history. They would all go on to use all 4 years of eligibility as Tigers. The crazy thing is that only one scholarship player has done that since (Ryan Rosburg)...Puryear is about to do it as well.
There are several reasons for it and several coaches to blame, but Mizzou simply can't be successful this way. I do think that is about to settle into some normalcy over the next few years, which is a good thing. Hopefully Pinson, Watson, and Pickett all do it.
