The last three years I have not got into football recruiting like I did in HCGP years. I would scan Gabe's articles but the names just didn't sink in enough to remember.
Coach Drink seems to have brightened my outlook on the football team and in retrospect recruiting news. I know ED has a short time to shore up this class this year but he seems to have knocked down the door instead of opening it on his start with this class.
It will not be in this class but I can see him looking for a Chase type QB who can play pitch and catch with the wideouts. I like the thought of an exciting offense for a change and skill players who bring excitement.
Hopefully Drink hires the correct coaches on defense who can recruit ball hawking defenders. We just might have us a complete football team soon.
