For the three transfers so far there are two consistent themes:

Free Throws Attempted:

• Marques Warrick - 180 (87%)
• Tony Perkins - 160 (79%)
• Jacob Crews - 136 (81%)

All three would have lead Mizzou this past season.


Transition Efficiency:

• Marques Warrick - 61st percentile
• Tony Perkins - 65th percentile
• Jacob Crews - 77th percentile

Three noted areas of deficiency last year?

Free throws attempted per game - 230th in NCAA
Effective FG% in Transition - 230th in NCAA
Tempo - 239th in NCAA


Pretty clear Gates wants to get back to running and shoot a lot of free throws next season.
