Today, when asking WR Dominic Lovett about having confidence to score a first drive TD on the road at SCAR just like they did in week 8 this was his response.
***I’m sorry i botched his quote a little bit.
“Yes. Me personally, I look at it as this its football. Like no matter who the team is, like they put their pads on just like we put our pads on and strap up how we strap up so you just got to go out there — and pardon my French — we got to drop our nuts and play. You can't control the final score. You can't control the previous play you can control the play right here. So you've got to take it one play at a time no matter what the score is what the outcome of the game is. You can't control anything else but this play right here. That's why we have this one-play mentality. I like speaking up here (at the podium).”
I asked did he want to be a journalist after football and he said
“A comedian. I say if I wasn’t playing football I’d be a comedian. So, if Denzel Washington ever gets a hold of this I would to start acting if football don’t work out.
